Description:
The DBI Library could allow a remote attacker to overwrite arbitrary files on the system. The DBI Library creates an insecure temporary PID file. A remote attacker could use this vulnerability to overwrite arbitrary files on the system.

For Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 (woody):
Upgrade to the latest version of libdbi-perl (1.21-2woody2 or later), as listed in DSA-658-1. See References.
