Microsoft Windows SMB code execution

Description:
Microsoft Windows could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by improper validation of SMB (Server Message Block) packets. SMB is a client server protocol used for file and printer sharing for Microsoft Windows and Unix-based operating systems. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system.
This vulnerability affects Microsoft's implemetation of the SMB protocol, and not the protocol itself.
