Description:

Windows SharePoint Services is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker could embed malicious script in a URL request to a script or send a specially-crafted email containing embedded script, which would be executed in the victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting site with user privileges, once the link is clicked or the email is viewed.
