Magic Winmail Server FTP request obtain information

Description:
Magic Winmail Server is a POP3 and SMTP server for Microsoft Windows platforms. Magic Winmail Server version 4.0 Build 1112 and possibly earlier versions running on Microsoft Windows 2000 SP4 and Windows XP SP2 could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information. An authenticated remote attacker could send a specially-crafted FTP request to scan ports on a target system. The target system would show the port scans as originating from the Magic Winmail Server's IP address. A remote attacker could use this vulnerability to conduct port scans to obtain sensitive information useful for further attacks.
