Sun SDK and RTE Java Virtual Machine denial of service

Description:
Software Development Kit (SDK) and Run Time Environment (RTE) is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by a vulnerability when an object is deserialized. A remote attacker could cause the Java Virtual Machine (VM) to stop responding.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of SDK and RTE (1.4.2-4 or later), available from the Hewlett-Packard Web site. See References.
