Newspost socket_getline function buffer overflow

Description:
Newspost is vulnerable to a buffer overflow, caused by improper bounds checking of user-supplied input in the socket_getline function in the socket.c file. By sending a specially-crafted long respond to Newspost, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and possibly execute arbitrary code on the system.

Upgrade to the latest version of newspost (2.0-r1 or later), as listed in GLSA 200502-05. See References.
