PostgreSQL missing permission check security bypass

Description:

PostgreSQL could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by a vulnerability with a missing permissions check. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to bypass security and execute arbitrary arbitrary commands on the system.

Upgrade to the latest version of PostgreSQL (7.2.7, 7.3.9, 7.4.7, or 8.0.1 or later), available from the PostgreSQL FTP Web page. See References.
