Microsoft Windows registry key connection denial of service

Description:
Microsoft Windows is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by a vulnerability in the HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion registry key. A local or remote authenticated attacker could make multiple connections to this registry key from the same process to cause the system to stop responding and deny access to all users.
