Description:

Gaim is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by a vulnerability in the parsing of HTML. By sending specially-crafted HTML, a remote attacker could cause Gaim to crash.

Remedy:

Upgrade to the latest version of Gaim (1.1.3 or later), available from the Gaim Download Web page. See References.
