Description:

Thomson TCW690 could allow a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to the cable modem, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input. A remote authenticated attacker could send a specially-crafted POST request to gain control of the cable modem and possibly perform further attacks against the system, such as changing the administration password, cause a denial of service, and restore factory defaults.
