Description:

WebConnect is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by improper handling of reserved Ms-DOS device names. A remote attacker could send a specially-crafted HTTP request containing a reserved MS-DOS device name to cause the system to crash.

Upgrade to the latest version of WebConnect (6.5.1 or later), available from the WebConnect Customer Support Web page. See References.
