Verity Ultraseek search request cross-site scripting

Description:
Verity Ultraseek is vulnerable to cross-site scripting, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input in handling search requests. A remote attacker could send a specially-crafted URL that contains embedded script, which would be executed in the victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting site, once the link is viewed. An attacker could use this vulnerability to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.
