PunBB profile.php script denial of service

Description:
PunBB is vulnerable to a denial of service attack, caused by a vulnerability in the profile.php script. A remote attacker can set the password of any user to null to lock the user out of the system.
Consequences:
Denial of Service
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of PunBB (1.2.2 or later), available from the PunBB Web site. See References.
