PhotoPost PHP Pro uid parameter SQL injection

Description:
PhotoPost PHP Pro is an online photo gallery running on Microsoft Windows and Unix-based operating systems. PhotoPost PHP Pro versions 5.0 RC3 up to 5.0.1 are vulnerable to SQL injection, caused by improper validation of user-supplied input in the uid parameter. A remote attacker could send a specially-crafted URL request containing SQL commands in the uid parameter, which would allow the attacker to obtain sensitive information and add, modify or delete information in the backend database.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of PhotoPost PHP Pro (5.0.1 or later), available from the PhotoPost PHP Pro Web site. See References.
