phpAdsNew "php.ini" configuration file cross-site scripting

Description:
phpAdsNew is an open-source ad server running on Microsoft Windows and Unix-Based operating systems that allows users to gather statistics. phpAdsNew version 2.0.4-pr1 is vulnerable to cross-site scripting. If the register_globals option is enabled, a remote attacker could create a malicious URL link to the adframe.php script containing embedded code in the 'php.ini' configuration file which, once the link is viewed, would be executed in the victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting site. An attacker could use this vulnerability to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.
