ZPanel index.php SQL injection

Description:

ZPanel is vulnerable to SQL injection. If magic_quotes_gpc is disabled, a remote attacker could send a specially-crafted request to the index.php script containing malicious SQL statements in the uname parameter, which would allow the attacker to add, modify, or delete data in the backend database.

Platforms Affected:

  • Microsoft, Windows 2000 Advanced Server
  • Microsoft, Windows 2003 Server Enterprise
  • Zee-way Services, ZPanel 2.0

Remedy:

Upgrade to the latest version of ZPanel, available from the ZPanell Web site. See References.
