Linux kernel bluez_sock_create function integer underflow
| kernel-bluezsockcreate-integer-underflow (19844) |
Description:
Linux kernel is vulnerable to an integer underflow, caused by improper bounds checking in the bluez_sock_create() function in the Bluetooth socket code. By sending a negative integer value to the bluez_sock_create() function, a local attacker could underflow a buffer and cause an incorrect memory access. An attacker could use this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the system to gain root privileges.
