Description:
Microsoft Jet Database Engine (Jet) is vulnerable to a buffer overflow caused by improper bounds checking of user-supplied input when parsing files in the msjet40.dll, library component in version 4.00.8618.0. By sending a specially-crafted .mdb database file, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with user privileges, once the victim opens the file.
