IBM Lotus Notes/Domino NOTES.INI buffer overflow

Description:
IBM Lotus Notes and Lotus Domino are vulnerable to a buffer overflow caused by improper bounds checking in the NOTES.INI file. A local attacker could use this vulnerability to overflow a buffer and cause the service to crash.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Lotus Notes/Domino (6.0.5 or 6.5.4 or later), available from the IBM Support Services Web page. See References.
