Fastream NETFile directory traversal

Description:
Fastream NETFile Server could allow a remote attacker to traverse directories on the Web server. A remote authenticated attacker, with directory create or removal privileges, could send a specially-crafted request containing "dot dot" sequences (/../) to traverse directories and create or delete arbitrary files or directories outside the FTP Web root directory.
Platforms Affected:

- Microsoft, Windows 2000 SP4
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Fastream NETFile (7.5.0 Beta 7 or later), when it becomes available from the Fastream NETFile Download Web page. See References.
