Pound add_port function buffer overflow

Description:
Pound is vulnerable to a buffer overflow caused by improper bounds checking of user-supplied input in the add_port() function. By sending a long hostname to Pound, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.

Upgrade to the latest version of Pound (1.8.3 or later), available from the Pound Web page. See References.
