Description:

ArcInfo is vulnerable to a buffer overflow caused by improper bounds checking of user-supplied input in the asmaster, asrecovery, asuser, asutility or se applications. If ArcStorm or the Geoprocessing server is enabled, a remote attacker could send a specially-crafted long command line argument to overflow a buffer to execute arbitrary code with root privileges on the system.
