Links user.cgi and add.cgi cross-site scripting

Description:
Links and Links SQL from Gossamer Threads are vulnerable to cross-site scripting. A remote attacker could embed malicious script in a URL request to the user.cgi or add.cgi scripts which, once the link is clicked, would be executed in the victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting site. An attacker could use this vulnerability to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.

Upgrade to the latest version of Links (3.0.1 or later), available from the Links Web site. See References.
