ViRobot Linux Server is vulnerable to a buffer overflow caused by improper bounds checking of cookies sent to the setuid cgi-bin file, addschup, and possibly other binaries as well. Arbitrary commands can be inserted into the user's contab file. By connecting to the server webadmin port, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with root privileges.
