Description:
IA eMailServer Corporate Edition is vulnerable to a denial of service attack caused by improper validation of user-supplied input in the mail server in the LIST IMAP command. A remote, authenticated attacker could send a specially-crafted LIST command parameter containing the characters (%x) to cause the mail server to crash.

- True North Software, IA eMailServer Corporate Edition prior to 5.3.4.2019
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of IA eMailServer (5.3.4.2019 or later), available from the True North Software Download Web page. See References.
