Description:

The JVIEW Profiler (Javaprxy.dll) COM object in Microsoft Internet Explorer is vulnerable to a heap-based buffer overflow. By persuading a victim to visit a malicious Web page that instantiates the JVIEW Profiler COM object as an ActiveX control, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system or cause the victim's Web browser to crash.
