PHPSiteSearch query parameter cross-site scripting

Description:
PHPSiteSearch is vulnerable to cross-site scripting caused by improper validation of user-supplied data in the query parameter in the search.php script. A remote attacker could send a malicious URL containing embedded code in the search.php script in the query parameter which, once the link is clicked, would be executed in the victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting site. An attacker could use this vulnerability to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.
