Contrexx votingoption and pld parameters SQL injection
| contrexx-votingoption-pld-sql-injection (21482) |
Description:
Contrexx is vulnerable to SQL injection caused by improper validation of user-supplied input in the votingoption (in the poll module) and pId parameter (in the gallery module). A remote attacker could send specially-crafted SQL statements to the poll or gallery modules using the votingoption or pld parameters which would allow the attacker to obtain sensitive information, and add, modify or delete data in the backend database.
Consequences:
File Manipulation
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Contrexx (1.0.5 or later), available from the Contrexx Download Web page. See References.
