Description:
The apt-cacher in Debian could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands caused by improper validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker could use this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the caching host as the user www-data.

For Debian GNU/Linux 3.1 (sarge):
Upgrade to the latest version of apt-cacher (0.9.4sarge1 or later), as listed in DSA-772-1. See References.
