Karrigell denial of service

Description:
Karrigell is vulnerable to a denial of service attack caused by improper validation of user-supplied input. A remote attacker could use a Karrigell services (.ks) script to execute specific python built-in functions on the system to consume large amounts of CPU resources on the system or possibly to create files within the current working directory.
Platforms Affected:
- Karrigell, Karrigell prior to 2.1.8
- Microsoft, .NET Windows Server Standard
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Karrigell (2.1.8 or later), available from the SourceForge.net Web site. See References.
