Microsoft Windows Client Service for NetWare code execution
| win-csnw-bo (21700) |
Description:
Microsoft Windows could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code, caused by a buffer overflow in the Client Service for NetWare (CSNW). CSNW, which is also known as Gateway Service for Netware, allows the client to access NetWare services, such as file, print, and directory, and is not installed by default. A remote attacker could send a specially-crafted packet to overflow the buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.
