Description:

EMC Navisphere Manager could allow a remote attacker to traverse directories on the Web server. A remote attacker could send specially-crafted HTTP requests containing "dot dot" sequences (/../) to traverse directories and view log files and possibly obtain the Clarion Administrator password that is stored in the log files.

For Navisphere Manager version 6.4, upgrade to the latest version of Navisphere Manager, as listed below.

Management Server: 6.4.8.0.0 or later
Management Server Base: 6.4.8.0.0 or later
Windows Management Server: 6.4.8.0.0 or later

For Navisphere Manager version 6.5, upgrade to the latest version of Navisphere Manager, as listed below.

Management Server: 6.5.4.0.0 or later
Management Server Base: 6.5.4.0.0 or later
Windows Management Server: 6.5.4.0.0 or later

For Navisphere Manager version 6.6, upgrade to the latest version of Navisphere Manager, as listed below.

Management Server: 6.6.0.5.0 or later
Management Server Base: 6.6.0.5.0 or later
Windows Management Server: 6.6.0.5.0 or later

Navisphere Manager customers should refer to their authorized EMC Service Representative to obtain the fix for this vulnerability.
