Description:
Netscape Enterprise Servers (NES) on the HP VirtualVault operating system are vulnerable to a denial of service attack. Under some circumstances, NES fails to process certain HTTP requests. This vulnerability could allow a remote attacker to cause the server to not respond to legitimate requests for documents.

Remedy:
Apply the appropriate patch for your system, as listed in Hewlett-Packard Security Bulletin HPSBUX9906-098. See References.
