Description:

UMN's Gopher is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow in the VIfromLine() function. By sending a specially-crafted '+VIEWS:' reply and persuading a user to connect to the malicious server, a remote attacker could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system.
