Description:
Barracuda Spam Firewall could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands caused by a vulnerability in the /cgi-bin/img.pl script. A remote attacker could send a specially-crafted URL to the /cgi-bin/img.pl script containing "../" directory traversal characters in the "f" parameter and execute arbitrary commands on the system.

Upgrade to the latest firmware for Barracuda Spam Firewall (3.1.18 or later), available from Barracuda Networks Web site. See References.
