SqWebMail HTML comment cross-site scripting

Description:
SqWebMail is vulnerable to cross-site scripting caused by a vulnerability in the HTML comment tag. If the victim is using Internet Explorer, a remote attacker could send a specially-crafted email containing embedded code in the HTML comment tag which, once the email is viewed, would be executed in the victim's Web browser within the security context of the hosting site. An attacker could use this vulnerability to steal the victim's cookie-based authentication credentials.
