Avocent CCM connect command security bypass

Description:
Avocent CCM could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions caused by a vulnerability in the connect command. A remote attacker using Secure Shell (SSH) could connect directly to the console server and use the connect command to bypass security restrictions and gain unauthorized access to the port.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Avocent CCM (2.3 or later), available from the Avocent FTP Web page. See References.
