RSyslog SQL injection

Description:
RSyslog is vulnerable to SQL injection. A remote attacker could send a specially-crafted SQL syslog message which would allow the attacker to possibly obtain sensitive information and allow the attacker to add, modify or delete data in the backend database.
Platforms Affected:
- RSyslog, RSyslog Development prior to 1.10.1
- RSyslog, RSyslog Stable prior to 1.0.1
Remedy:
For RSyslog Stable:
Upgrade to the latest version (1.0.1 or later), available from the RSyslog Download Web page. See References.
