UW-IMAP mailbox name buffer overflow
| uw-imap-mailbox-name-bo (22518) |
Description:
UW-IMAP is vulnerable to a buffer overflow caused by improper bounds checking of mailbox names by the mail_valid_net_parse_work() function. By sending a specially-crafted mailbox name containing a quote (") character, a remote attacker with valid credentials could overflow a buffer and execute arbitrary code on the system with the privileges of the IMAP server.
