Oracle Database iSQL *Plus TNS listener denial of service

Description:
Oracle Database could be used to cause a denial of service in the TNS listener. The iSQL *Plus web interface could be used to cause a denial of service in the TNS listener. A remote attacker could send a specially-crafted URL request to cause the TNS listener to stop.
Platforms Affected:
- Oracle, Database Server 9.0.2.4 R2
Remedy:
Apply the appropriate patch for your system, available from the Critical Patch Update - July 2005. See References.
