Paros default password security bypass
| paros-password-security-bypass (22557) |
Description:
Paros could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions. The built-in hsqldb database contains a default password that can be accessed remotely. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by bypassing specific security restrictions to obtain the default password. This would allow the attacker to obtain sensitive information and possibly run stored procedures on the system.
Consequences:
Bypass Security
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Paros (3.2.6 or later), available from the Paros Download Web page. See References.
