Description:
Symantec pcAnywhere is vulnerable to a denial of service attack. An attacker can direct a burst of traffic to the pcAnywhere server to cause the service to consume 100% of the CPU resources. The vulnerability permanently places a Windows NT computer in this state, but Windows 9x computers are only temporarily affected.

Denial of Service
Remedy:
Apply the AW32TCP.DLL patch, available from the Symantec FTP site. See References.
