Description:

Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 902412 is not installed, which could allow a remote attacker to exploit the following vulnerability:

Microsoft Office 2000, Office XP, Office 2003, and Microsoft Exchange Server could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code, caused by a buffer overflow in the Transport Neutral Encapsulation Format (TNEF.) A remote attacker could send a specially-crafted message that uses the TNEF protocol, which when opened or previewed by the victim using Outlook or processed by the Microsoft Exchange Server Information Store, could overflow a buffer and allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system and take complete control of the victim's system.
