Description:
VERITAS NetBackup could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system caused by a buffer overflow. A remote attacker could exploit a buffer overflow vulnerability in the Volume Manager Daemon (VMD) to cause a denial of service and use the VMD daemon to execute arbitrary code on the system.
