Sylpheed LDIF_get_line() function could allow execution of code
| sylpheed-ldif-dos (23028) |
Description:
Sylpheed could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system, caused by a buffer overflow. A remote attacker could send a specially-crafted file to the ldif_get_line() function in ldif.c to overflow a buffer and possibly cause a denial of service. If the victim can be tricked into importing the malicious LDIF file into the address book, it is possible for the attacker to execute arbitrary code on the system.
