Exponent CMS navigation and resource modules allow SQL injection

Description:
Exponent is vulnerable to SQL injection. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability by passing malicious SQL commands to the navigation module using the parent parameter or to the resource module using the id parameter which would allow the attacker to obtain sensitive information and add, modify, or delete information in the back-end database.
Platforms Affected:
- Exponent, Exponent CMS 0.96.3 and prior
Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Exponent CMS (0.96.4 or later) available from the SourceForge.net Downloads Web site. See References.
