Description:
Gadu-Gadu is vulnerable to a denial of service, caused by the improper handling of MS-DOS device names in filenames. By sending multiple image filenames of AUX or writing to the LPT1 port using an image filename of "LPT1", a remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to cause the application to hang resulting in a denial of service.

Remedy:
Upgrade to the latest version of Gadu-Gadu (7 build 22 or later), available from the Gadu-Gadu Web site. See References.
