Microsoft Excel msvcrt.memmove() buffer overflow

Description:
Microsoft Excel is vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow in the msvcrt.memmove() function. By creating a malicious Excel .xls file and hosting it on a Web site or sending it to a potential victim as an email attachment, an attacker could overflow a buffer and possibly execute arbitrary code on the system with privileges of the victim, if the attacker could persuade the victim to open the file.
