Description:
Apple Mac OS X could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions, caused by a vulnerability in the Perl binary included with Mac OS X. A remote attacker could exploit this vulnerability to bypass security restrictions on certain Perl applications.

Remedy:
Apply the patch for this vulnerability (Security Update 2006-001 Mac OS X 10.4.5), available from the Apple Mac OS X Web site. See References.
