Telnet password buffer overflow

Description:
A user has tried to log into Telnet using a very long password. This could be an attempt to overflow the login, and try to execute arbitrary code on the system.
Platforms Affected:
- Various vendors, Any application
Remedy:
Download and install the latest version of telnetd software that addresses this vulnerability.
